Project Engineer - Cross River Rail
An excellent full-time opportunity exists for a dynamic and enthusiastic person to join our growing national Major Projects team.
Rhomberg Rail Australia (RRA) are market leaders in complex rail maintenance and construction solutions. As the Australian operating division of the Austrian-based Rhomberg Sersa Rail Group (RSRG), RRA are industry specialists backed by European innovation and local expertise.
Based from our Pymble office and with occasional travel to other sites, the primary function of this position is multi-faceted to assist the Major Project team by way of engineering consultancy associated tenders and proposals, as well assisting with the project management division
Duties & Responsibilities:
To be successful in this highly autonomous and result driven role you will require;
- Experience in management and delivery of rail infrastructure projects
- Provide technical solutions associated with project construction, tender preparation, including cost estimates, detailed work programs and methodologies
- Maintain a culture of OH&S and rail safety within this highly regulated market
- To liaise, maintain and establish relationships with customers, suppliers and project partners
- Management and monitoring in accordance with the company’s Quality Assurance and Controlling system
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a project management, rail engineering and construction environment
- Excellent communication and report writing skills, problem solving abilities and initiative
- Relevant bachelor’s degree qualifications
- A high level of computer literacy - use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Project and/or other project management software
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
